What is Take Stock?
A great opportunity to support our children’s education and Basehor-Linwood Middle School! This year we are taking a new approach for fundraising at BLMS. We have heard many parents over the years say that they are exhausted with the amount of items that they are asked to purchase to help with fundraising. Just imagine: no more door to door sales to keep our children safe, no more parents and grandparents buying all the fundraiser items, no more parents taking order forms to work. It's just a one-time donation. If you choose to participate, our TAKE STOCK program will take the place of our all-school cookie dough and magazine sales fundraiser. With this TAKE STOCK campaign, your child will not sell items to family and friends throughout the school year because your One Time Donation of $25 – $50 per family allows 100% of the money collected to go directly back to our school.
What is your money used for?
Donations help to purchase a multitude of items that aren’t included in our BLMS budget. Your donation helps fund items for new course offerings at BLMS (such as theatre lighting and curtains, robotics kits, 3D sculpture materials, leadership materials), support student admission and transportation costs for field trips, all-school assemblies, after school clubs' supplies. Plus, additional items that help beautify our campus, like picnic tables for outdoors, landscaping items, BLMS Bobcat window decals, and much more.
How can you help?
Our goal is to reach 100% family participation in this year’s TAKE STOCK campaign. Will you help us get 100% family participation for the 2016-17 year? Whether you give $10, $25, $50, or $100, +$100; we’d like to see 100% of our Bulldog Community Take Stock in our children’s education.
