Sara Bowers

Sara Bowers is starting her sixth year as the Career Counseling Advocate at BLMS. She grew up in Eureka, Kansas and received her Bachelor's degree from Pittsburg State University. Sara began her fourteen year career in the Basehor-Linwood school district as a substitute teacher, then became counseling secretary at BLMS, and finally transitioning into her current position. Sara's husband, Willis, works in the construction industry. She has two daughters. Kennedy who works in the cyber security field and Madison who is working on her Master’s degree at Kansas State University. Sara's free time is filled with boating, camping, motorcycle riding, kayaking, and watching K-State football games.
