My name is Scott Hornbaker, and I am beginning my second year as the assistant principal/activities director at Basehor-Linwood Middle School. I grew up in the (small) town of Stafford, Kansas before attending Oklahoma Christian University and eventually, Kansas State University. My teaching career began at Ottawa High School, and after three years, brought me to Basehor-Linwood Middle School where I taught social studies for five years. While teaching at BLMS, I also coached football, girls basketball, boys basketball, and track. Leaving the classroom was bittersweet, as I loved teaching and coaching, but I am very excited to be a part of all of the great things happening at BLMS! I am looking forward to starting the school year and working with our students and staff to have an exceptional year!
