Jaclyn Naster
Hi there! My name is Jaclyn Naster. I have worked in education for over 20 years, and this will be my 10th year in the district. Previously, I taught ELA at Basehor-Linwood High School from 2003-2010. This is my third year teaching 6th grade ELA at Basehor-Linwood Middle School. I completed my undergraduate degree from KU in 2002 in Secondary English Education. Since then, I have acquired three Master's Degrees and just completed my Ph.D. at KU in Curriculum and Instruction. My dissertation and research focus is Teacher Education, specifically regarding the student teacher experience. From 2012-2021, I taught and supervised preservice teachers at both the University of California-Riverside and the University of Kansas. I have also spent the last 11 years as a private tutor. I don't have a lot of free time, but when I do I like to spend it with my family.
