Hello! Here is a little bit of information to help you get to know me better. I am someone who had always known I was destined to be an educator from an early age due to my passion of wanting to help other people be successful in life. I graduated from Washburn University with honors, and I later got my Master’s of Education at MidAmerica Nazarene University in the area of Reading Specialist. I taught as an elementary teacher for 12 years before switching to the middle school. It was definitely a huge switch, but I have loved every moment of being a middle school teacher! This is especially true because grammar, writing, and creativity in general have always been near and dear to my heart. Just being able to focus on my favorite subject has made an immense impact on my mindset. I enjoy participating in a wide variety of hobbies and activities outside of teaching. I play board games, role play games (like D&D), craft, write, focus on mindfulness, prioritize self-growth, watch movies, love spooky things, draw, collect crystals, bake, and enjoy pretty much all nerdy things! Thank you for taking the time to learn about me, and I hope you have a fabulous day.
