Originally from Michigan, Ms. Homan is proud to call herself a Jayhawk and currently teaches Theatre, Stagecraft, and 8th Grade English for Basehor-Linwood Virtual School. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she sponsors Student Council and Drama Club, where she enjoys helping students grow as leaders, performers, and collaborators.

 

Ms. Homan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Film from the University of Kansas, a Master’s degree in Secondary English Language Arts Education from Rockhurst University, and a second Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Emporia State University.

 

Outside the classroom, Ms. Homan enjoys music of all kinds, with a special love for The Beatles and Queen. She also enjoys traveling, supporting KU basketball, collecting vinyl records, karaoke, movies and television, animals, coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
