My name is Scott Hornbaker, and this is my sixth year as the Assistant Principal/Activities Director at Basehor-Linwood Middle School. I grew up in the small town of Stafford, Kansas, before attending Oklahoma Christian University, and eventually graduating from Kansas State University. I have received master's degrees from Emporia State University in Adaptive Special Education and Educational Administration.
My teaching career began at Ottawa High School, and after three years, brought me to Basehor-Linwood Middle School where I taught social studies for five years. While teaching at BLMS, I also coached football, girls basketball, boys basketball, and track.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my wife and two daughters, watching Kansas State football/basketball, and cheering on the Chiefs. I am looking forward to the school year, and am excited to work with our phenomenal students and staff!
