My name is Christine Sanders. I have been teaching 6th grade science since 2005. I graduated from Emporia State University in December of 2004 and started out working in this district as a substitute teacher. The following school year I was hired as a Sixth grade teacher. I live in Basehor with my husband Zeb and our many pets and foster pets. I recently completed a Master's degree in Special Education. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering with Great Plains SPCA as a foster mama for dogs and cats and working on home improvement.
I really enjoy finding ways to make science come alive for my students and share with them my love for the planet and all the living things that are a part of it. I love what I do, and am thrilled to belong to a profession where I can share that passion with my students!
