Michael Gossett
Mr. Michael Gossett is beginning his fifth year as a 6th and 8th grade science teacher at BLMS, as well as the head 7th grade football coach. He graduated in 2001 from Eastern Illinois University with a major in
Environmental Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During his senior year, he completed a 3 month internship at the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City. Mr. Gossett is very excited to have the opportunity to pass along his love and knowledge of the sciences to the students at BLMS. Mr. Gossett currently lives in Olathe with his wife Barbie, 5 year old son Mason, 2 Siberian Huskies (Kira and Yuna), and African Grey Parrot Zoey. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, Kansas City Chiefs football, working out at the gym, board gaming, and tinkering around with his saltwater aquarium.
