April Poff
Hi there, my name is Mrs. Poff and I am an interrelated teacher here at Basehor-Linwood Middle School. I work in 6th grade classrooms teaching English and helping students who need extra help completing assignments. This is my second year working in Basehor and I have loved every minute helping students learn and grow. I have lived in the Kansas City area most of my life so therefore I love BBQ food and eat it often. KC Joes is my overall favorite but there are many good options to choose from. I also love coffee so you will find me in a coffee shop frequently when I'm not at work.
I have a husband, an almost 2 year old son, a baby on the way, and two cats named Calli and Cheeto. I enjoy making arts and crafts as a hobby. This could be jewelry making, pottery, knitting, drawing, painting and just about anything that is creative. I am kind of an art nerd. I went to K-State to study art education and KU to study special education. This will be my 10th year teaching!
