April Poff
Hi, my name is Mrs. Poff and I am so excited to be joining Basehor Middle School as an interrelated teacher this school year. I will be working in the English Language Arts classroom- my favorite subject when I was in middle school!
I love getting lost in a good science fiction or suspense story. Reading has always been a relaxing hobby for me. In my free time I like to spend time with my husband, nine month old son and two cats Calli and Cheeto. This will be my ninth year of teaching total. I have enjoyed teaching the subjects art, reading, and English Language Arts at the pre-school, elementary, high school and now the middle school level.
I studied art education at Kansas State University for my bachelors degree (Go K-State!) and studied adaptive special education at the University of Kansas for a masters degree.
