This will be my 15th year in public school education. My husband and I started a small homestead/hobby farm four years ago when we entered our "empty nester" phase of living. I taught in Shawnee Mission & Turner school districts previously. Super excited to join our community school district and contribute to an area we have grown to love greatly! Our children live in Iowa, Kansas, & Texas. We encourage them to visit us since finding a farm sitter is problematic. We love our little farm and raise chickens, ducks, geese, and our most recent addition is donkeys. Spare time? Never heard of it! Love being busy and outdoors.
